Aviator is a crash game built by Spribe. It launched in January 2019 and went live first on Adjarabet in February 2019. Spribe calls it a “social multiplayer game consisting of an increasing curve that can crash anytime”. By October 2023 it had over 10 million monthly players. That reach created a copycat problem.
The real game has one home: a licensed operator’s website or app. Spribe publishes no standalone Aviator app. Any download carrying the Aviator name on Google Play, Softonic, Uptodown or an APK mirror is a third-party product. This article shows where the official game lives, how it works, and how to tell it apart from the clones.
Spribe and the Aviator game
Spribe is the studio that makes Aviator. David Natroshvili co-founded the company in August 2018 in Tbilisi, Georgia, and serves as CEO.
The company keeps offices in several places:
- Kyiv
- Warsaw
- Tallinn
- Curaçao
- Isle of Man
Aviator 2.0 arrived on 15 August 2019. The update made the game 40% faster and lighter for slow connections and low-end phones. It added a redesigned mobile interface, chat with emojis and GIFs, and the new Rain feature.
Distribution grew fast after launch:
- Over 300 operators offered the game by December 2020.
- Certificates cover more than 20 jurisdictions, including South Africa (WCGRB), Ontario, the Netherlands, Sweden, Italy, Romania, Greece and Switzerland.
- The Malta Gaming Authority B2B licence RN/189/2020 is active. The UK Gambling Commission licence is currently listed as suspended.
- Spribe signed a multi-year UFC partnership in October 2023, plus deals with WWE and AC Milan. Relax Gaming, Slotegrator and Salsa Technology distribute its games.
Company-wide, Spribe reports 50 million monthly active players and 350,000 bets per minute across more than 60 countries. Those figures cover the whole portfolio, not Aviator alone.
No app, clones and predictors
Spribe publishes no standalone Aviator app. The official game runs only inside a licensed operator’s website or app.
Search an app store and you will still find “Aviator” downloads. Developers such as Nivera Games, Gaya Techn and MobisMobis publish them on Google Play, Softonic, Uptodown and APK mirrors. They carry disclaimers like “virtual coins, no real value” or they run on ads.
Common warning signs of a clone:
- The download promises real-money play outside any operator.
- The store listing names a developer you cannot trace to Spribe.
- The description mentions virtual coins with no real value.
- The developer’s contact is a free Gmail address.
Predictor tools
“Predictor” apps claim to forecast the next multiplier. One “Predictor Aviator (MOD) 1.9.4” APK is 25.84 MB, dated February 2023, rated 0/10, and lists a Gmail-contact developer. Version names like “Predictor v4.0”, “v8” and “v12” are marketing labels, not products.
Prediction is mathematically impossible. Before each round the server publishes a SHA-256 hash of its seed. Client seeds from players are combined with it, and the crash point is fixed before take-off. The inputs are revealed after the round and can be checked with the verification tool inside the game. Neither the operator nor Spribe can change a result once the round starts. Telegram “signal” bots simply resell this public math. Hollywoodbets tells players outright not to spend money on Aviator predictors.
Finding Aviator inside an operator
Over 300 operators carried Aviator by December 2020. Each one places the game in its own casino lobby, under its own limits.
The steps to reach the real game are short:
- Open the website or app of a licensed operator.
- Register an account or log in. Odibets in Kenya even allows SMS registration.
- Find Aviator in the lobby. Betway lists it under Casino / Instant Games. Betika and Odibets put it in the top menu. On BetKing the path is Menu → Casino → Aviator. On 1xBet it sits in the Casino crash section as game id 52358.
- Check the stake limits and the win cap before you bet. Both depend on the operator.
Stakes and caps differ widely. The table shows published examples:
| Operator | Minimum stake | Maximum win | Note |
|---|---|---|---|
| Betway South Africa | R1 | $250,000 per round | “10 Free Flights on Aviator” welcome offer |
| Hollywoodbets | — | R5M per bet, R10M per round | Record R10,000,000 paid on 10 April 2024 from two bets |
| Betika Kenya | KES 10 | — | Aviator in the top menu |
| SportPesa Kenya | Ksh 2 | Ksh 4.5M per bet | Aviator Rain drops Ksh 1M per day in free bets |
| betPawa Nigeria | ₦1 | ₦340,000,000 | Mobile money and USDC accepted |
| LottoStar South Africa | R1 | R50 million | — |
Aviator sits inside the Betway casino lobby, not in a standalone app.
Typical stakes run from about $0.10 up to $100 per bet. The exact range depends on the operator.
Multipliers, RTP and cash-out
Aviator runs at a 97% RTP. The house edge is 3%, and rounds last about 8 to 30 seconds, so an hour holds 60 to 90 rounds.
The probability that a round reaches multiplier m is 0.97 divided by m. The published figures:
- 1.2x: 80.8%
- 1.5x: 64.7%
- 2x: 48.5%
- 3x: 32.3%
- 5x: 19.4%
- 10x: 9.7%
- 20x: 4.85%
- 50x: 1.94%
- 100x: 0.97%
About 3% of rounds, roughly 1 in 33, crash instantly at 1.00x. The expected value stays at -3% of the stake at every cash-out target. Strategy changes variance, not the edge.
Players who search for an aviator flight pattern in past multipliers are reading history that cannot change the next crash point.
Common approaches from strategy guides:
- Auto cash-out at 1.5x-2x; a 1.3x-1.5x target wins roughly 65-75% of rounds.
- Two-bet split: one bet cashed at 1.5x-2x, the second left to ride toward 5x-10x.
- Realistic long targets of 5x-50x.
- Staking no more than 2% of bankroll per round.
- Setting loss and win limits before the session.
The interface supports these plans directly. Each round offers two bet panels with separate cash-outs, an Auto Cash-Out at a preset multiplier, and Auto Play for 10-100 rounds with stop-on-win and stop-on-loss. Martingale doubles the stake after each loss and reaches 1,024x the base stake after 10 losses; guides warn against it. Fibonacci and D’Alembert also fail against the 3% edge. Stake only money you can afford to lose.
Demo mode, login and free bets
Aviator has a demo mode that needs no registration. Operators host demo versions, and Spribe runs one at demo.spribe.io.
The demo is the right place to test cash-out timing and the two-panel setup. Real-money play always requires an operator account. The login window sits over the game until you sign in.
The Betway Aviator page asks for a login before real-money rounds.
Operators hand out free play through built-in promo tools:
- Rain Promo drops free bets into the in-game chat; the first players to tap “claim” get them.
- Free Bets are granted by operators individually, in batches or by API.
- Tournaments and races rank players on leaderboards.
- Operators announce their promos directly in the chat.
Concrete examples: BetKing credits 50 Free Bets after ₦50,000 staked on Aviator within 7 days. SportyBet Nigeria runs “Aviator Missions” with a weekly pool of 4,000,000 NGN, and its free bets stay valid for 3 days.
Playing Aviator on mobile
Aviator works on desktop, tablet and mobile browsers. Spribe built it for low bandwidth and budget devices.
Operator apps carry the game, not Spribe. Betway offers an app for iOS and Android. The 1xBet Android APK is offered on the 1xBet site, not on Google Play, and iOS users go through the App Store; the game also plays on the website without any app. Hollywoodbets lets players use Aviator “data free” on its mobisite.
The mobile view keeps the two bet panels under the multiplier curve.
Deposits depend on the operator and market. M-PESA Paybill numbers serve Kenya. betPawa Nigeria takes OPay, PalmPay, MTN MoMo, Airtel SmartCash, bank transfer and USDC. UPI, Paytm, PhonePe and BHIM serve India. The 1xBet minimum deposit is about 1 USD equivalent.
A slow connection causes most “cash-out time-out” complaints. The cash-out request must reach the server before the crash. Playing off-peak gives a smoother connection, not better odds.
Aviator FAQ
Is there an official Aviator app from Spribe?
No. Spribe publishes no standalone app. The game runs inside licensed operator websites and apps, such as the Betway app for iOS and Android. Any “Aviator” download outside an operator is a clone.
Can any app predict the Aviator multiplier?
No. The crash point is committed by a SHA-256 hash before each round starts. “Predictor” versions like v4.0, v8 or v12 are marketing labels, and Telegram signal bots resell public math.
Can you play Aviator for free?
Yes. The demo mode needs no registration. Operators also drop free bets through the Rain Promo in chat, and some grant Free Bets after qualifying stakes.
Is Aviator rigged?
The game is provably fair. Server and client seeds set the crash point before take-off, the inputs are revealed after the round, and the in-game tool lets you verify them. Neither the operator nor Spribe can change a result mid-round.
Why did my cash-out time out?
Latency or a slow device is the usual cause. The cash-out request must reach the server before the crash. Rounds are independent, so different results between accounts are normal variance, not rigging.
Where can I play the real Aviator?
On licensed operators that carry Spribe games. Betway lists it under Casino / Instant Games, Betika and Odibets put it in the top menu, and 1xBet hosts it in the crash section. Check the stake limits first, because they depend on the operator.
